COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Set to Clash at The Mag This Weekend
CCSDS Returns to Action on June 17-19 at Magnolia Motor Speedway

Conway, Arkansas (06/15/21) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil is eager to embark on one of their biggest race weekends of the year. This Thursday-Saturday, June 17-19 the tour goes into battle with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) in the annual OPTIMA Batteries Clash at The Mag presented by Big River Steel.

“Magnolia Motor Speedway is one of the premier facilities in the country. Johnny Stokes and his staff do a great job with the place, and any time we get to race there it’s a big deal. However, this weekend is especially big as we go head-to-head again the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series,” CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan said. “Three complete shows in three days with a talent-laden field. What more could a race fan ask for.”

Entering the weekend, defending CCSDS Champion, Logan Martin is once again the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, and holds a 10-point advantage over Columbus, Mississippi racer Brian Rickman. B.J. Robinson is just 45 markers back in third with Kyle Beard, Morgan Bagley, Hunter Rasdon, Scott Crigler, Brayden Proctor, Ashton Winger, Billy Moyer, Chad Mallett, and Mike Collins rounding out the Top 10.

Meanwhile, Brayden Proctor has a dominant advantage atop the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle.

On the other side of the coin, Tim McCreadie sits atop the latest LOLMDS standings entering the tripleheader weekend. Hudson O’Neal is 25 points back in second with Jonathan Davenport, Josh Richards, Ricky Thornton Jr., Shane Clanton, Mike Marlar, Kyle Bronson, Tyler Erb and Jimmy Owens rounding out the Top 10.

Thornton Jr. leads the tour’s Rookie of the Year standings.

The CCSDS returns to action in the OPTIMA Batteries Clash at The Mag presented by Big River Steel on June 17-19. The weekend is co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and includes $5,000-to-win programs on June 17 and 18, followed by a $15,000-to-win finale on June 19.

The action starts on Thursday, June 17 with the opening round of the OPTIMA Batteries Clash at The MAG Presented by Big River Steel as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models competes in a complete $5,000-to-win program, which will be recorded by the Lucas Oil Production cameras for a future broadcast television broadcast.

Joining Thursday night’s program are both Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman ($600-to-win / $50-to-start), and the Murphy Towing Hot Shots ($200-to-win / $50-to-start).

On Thursday the driver’s meeting is at 7 p.m. CST with hot laps at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, June 18 the second round of the OPTIMA Batteries Clash at The Mag Presented by Big River Steel finds the LOLMDS and CCSDS contingent once again contesting a complete $5,000-to-win program, which will be also be filmed for a future broadcast.

Accompanying Friday’s program will be complete shows for the MSSS Murphy Towing Street Stocks ($1,000-to-win / $75-to-start), Trak-Star Crate Late Models ($800-to-win / $50-to-start), and William Wells 3 Star Tire and Auto Factory Stocks ($500-to-win / $50-to-start).

On Friday the driver’s meeting is at 7 p.m. CST with hot laps at 7:30 p.m.

The OPTIMA Batteries Clash at The MAG Presented by Big River Steel Championship Night is set for Saturday, June 19 and includes the LOLMDS / CCSDS Super Late Models rounding out their three-day weekend with a $15,000-to-win, 60-lap finale in front of both an expected capacity crowd and the Lucas Oil Productions cameras.

Joining Saturday’s program are MSSS Murphy Street Stocks ($1,000-to-win / $75-to-start), Trak-Star Crate Late Models ($1,000-to-win) / $50-to-start), and Glenn’s BBQ and Fish Late Model Sportsman ($500-to-win / $50-to-start).

The driver’s meeting on Saturday is at 6:30 p.m CST with racing action beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Thursday Grandstand Admission is $25 for Adults with Kids 6-10 $5, and Kids 5 & under free. Three-Day Adult Grandstand Pass $80.00.

Friday Grandstand Admission is $25 for Adults with Kids 6-10 $5, and Kids 5 & under free.

Saturday Grandstand Admission is $35 for Adults with Kids 6-10 $5, and Kids 5 & under free.

Thursday Pit Admission is $35 for Adults with Kids 6-10 years of age $25, and Kids 5 & under free.

Adult Three-Day Pit Pass $110.00.

Friday Pit Admission is $35 for Adults with Kids 6-10 years of age $25, and Kids 5 & under free.

Saturday Pit Admission is $40 for Adults with Kids 6-10 years of age $30, and Kids 5 & under free.

FOUR WHEELER’s/ATV’s/Dirt Bikes, ect. Passes are $25 for the weekend. Each race team will get one free band at registration. Any additional bands will be $25 each.
