    Thumbs up Bloomsburg Fairgrounds Speedway

Watched the USAC sprinters & ULMS late models on FloRacing last night. Looked like everything is first-class & will develop into a top-notch racing facility. Very impressive for a new track!

It really is a great looking facility judging by what we watched of the USAC sprint cars and the late models Sunday night on Flo.

Is this a brand new track or a track that has been extensively refurbished and brought back to life?

Believe they originally raced on the 1/2 mile horse track & this is a new 3/8 mile inside the horse track. They last raced there in mid 80’s according to a YouTube video about the new track.

Built a completely new 3/8th's mile track within the horsetrack with new lightening, catch fencing and concrete walls. Steve O'Neil who runs Port Royal, has been hired as the Race Director. Steve brought in the O'Connors from Kokomo Speedway, to work the track in for last night. A little dusty, and a few holes developed in the turns during the DLM feature, but overall not too bad for the first time out. Knowing O'Neil, he will figure things out going forward.

Reece and crew have track prep and maintenance throughout the event down to a literal science. Tommy Helfrich is right up towards the top of the list, as well. The management of Bloomsburg did well to have Reece in charge for their maiden event.
