Dennis Erb Racing Rolls into Lernerville Speedway for Annual Firecracker 100

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing trekked to the Northeast from June 17-19 for what was supposed to be a tripleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series in the states of New York and Pennsylvania. However, inclement weather wiped out a pair of $10,000 to win programs on Friday at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Knox Dale, Pennsylvania and on Saturday at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

The lone event that escaped the wrath of Mother Nature occurred last Thursday evening, June 17 at Stateline Speedway in Busti, New York. Dennis Erb, Jr. clicked off the third quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session before running second in heat race action. After drawing the fifth starting spot for the $10,000 to win headliner, Dennis ran inside of the top five early in the 40-lap distance before slipping back to seventh in the final rundown. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace still finds himself seventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings exiting the Stateline Speedway show. Dennis and his #28 team have stayed in the Keystone State this week - after the rainouts - and will do battle this weekend (June 24-26) at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series will once again preside over the 14th edition of the ‘Firecracker 100.’ A pair of $6,000 to win preliminary programs will be held on Thursday and Friday leading into Saturday’s 100-lap grand finale. Dennis and the rest of the competitors at the 4/10-mile oval will gun for the whopping $30,000 top prize in this year’s ‘Firecracker 100.’ More information concerning the three races this weekend at Lernerville Speedway can be found online by clicking on www.woolms.com.
