Default Brandon Overton - Car or Driver or Both?

Looking at how successful Brandon's been the last few years I think its safe to say that he is one of the sports biggest stars and will be for some time to come. I know after the long races he talks about taking care of his tires which is obvious, but begs the question is he just that smoother than everyone else right now? Or has he also figured out car setup better than most? It seems like even the best drivers miss the setup from time to time and don't quite have the car to win but Overton either is hitting the setup right on most nights or he is just that good of a driver to be able to overcome if the car is off a bit.

It’s a little of column A, little of column B.

He's one of the 5 best drivers, for sure. His car is spot on right now too. You don't go on this kind of run without both, unless you have some game-changing technical advantage.

Overton has been good in everything he’s been in. I bet Randy Weaver is kicking himself in the rear end.

That would be easier to believe if the 76 hadn't had it's skirt lifted a few weeks back. When the blue 1 was fast, Richards was tackling guys like a linebacker, for glancing underneath.

I would definitely say both. He has come into his own the last two years. I think he's just getting started as a matter of fact.

Clements engines are very good right now also.

Definitely both and strongly disagree that anyone would be fast in that car.

Both. Exceptional talent behind the wheel, very disciplined in his approach to the race itself and not wild or over his head in his driving style. The team and the car too. No doubt Longhorn has come quite a ways in the last ten years or so.

I think it was after the $20k race in Virginia where he said "He thinks he finally got the car back to his liking."
