Bobby is having an excellent year, seems to be fast most nights. I am not a Bobby lover nor do I dislike him but to me he seems a bit fake on the social media. Once in a while (like at 34 when he was talking crap to the fans) there is a very dislikable side to him.

You couldn’t be more wrong. The Bobby you see on social media is the real Bobby. There isn’t a more polite or humble driver in the sport. No other driver even compares with Bobby in dealing with kids — which is the most important thing in regards to the future of DLM racing. You’re referring to one of those heat of the moment deals when some idiot from the stands was trashing him. All drivers have had those moments.

In the number of races that I have watched him compete in this year it seems like he is driving with a more maturity. Looks like he is picking and choosing his times to slide someone instead of the banzai move. Granted he isn't always the cleanest, but looks like he is taking care of his equipment a little better.

Thanks TerryM, good to know the Bobby on social media is the real him - he can certainly be a great ambassador for the young people in the sport. Also, as another poster said he had driven with more maturity this year for sure.
