    Default Double Tax

My property tax almost doubled this year .... And yours will too .... My reason behind thinkng this is .... In our area we lost the ford transmission plant a few years ago ( They were number two in paying the most in my area ) Now we are loosing Eastgate mall which paid the most tax's in my county .... All of this because .... Well part of its covid ... Every time you order online thru amazon think about where your money goes .... The places that only take cash isn't paying into your schools / roads etc .... Imaging when you retire having to pay 3 -500 a month just in property tax on a house you own .... This is hitting everyone all over in every state .... Buying local means more now than ever ,,,.. My dirt on dirt yearly subscription might be canceled this year ....Its got me thinking what else can I do without ....

Their plan is for NO ONE to be able to afford to own property ! It’s all a part of the plan that people like Kidrock , kazual ,orisis ,mcfarter etc voted for out of their blind hatred and jealousy of TRUMP AND HIS FAMILY !!!!

Private property ownership is antithetical to communism and socialism. High minded types who populate leftist think tanks envision a world where they get to decide, who lives where (urban planners, smart growth types), who gets what, what demographic needs to move into a certain area (DIE = diversity, inclusivity, equity), what gets produced and how much of it.

For sure, they wish they could do it much quicker than the death by a thousand cuts of making private property ownership ever more expensive. That will take a long time to achieve. But the hype of the last year of Covid response was a good trial run for showing just how far they could get with - control. So what can be the next hype? Another round of Covid maybe? How about global climate change?

Just imagine how much control they may desire to wield under the guise of climate change. Get a drinking game started for every time you hear the words "existential threat".
Political correctness,...is the inability to speak the truth about the obvious.

The Democrat party has a goal to end private property, this is unbelievable, but true.

Bob, your situation, and I profoundly sympathize with what they've done to you, is not unique.

What the marxist/democrat's want is single family housing to be done away with so they're attempting to make them unaffordable for the middle class.....or what's left of the middle class. The marxist/urban inbreds have been embolden by a bumbling senile old coot as president and a marxist ho as vice president and many members of both branches of congress. They know they can make headway in this political environment.

I know, I know, this sounds like a whole lotta' conspiratorial mamba-chahambo but if one looks closely at how this pattern is going in nearly every marxist/democrat lead state/urban hellhole it becomes rather clear to anyone willing to objectively examine what is happening.

I live in Illinois and we are ruled by chitcago urban inbreds, thus we pay some of the highest property taxes in the U.S.A. We have relatives in Florida who pay less than half the property taxes when compared to what we pay here in Illinois for property that is valued at over $50,000.00 more than our property. PLUS, they have no state income taxes in Florida. We pay a flat 5%!! What a sh!t hole! We do have good race tracks, though.

I didn't mean to imply that you were down & out but after rereading my post that is the way I made it sound. Sorry 'bout that.

You're correct in you assertion that we're all in this together. However, way too may people, when purchasing a home, are only concerned as to whether or not they can make the monthly payments at the time of purchase. Same goes for auto sales.

A universal tax revolt would open the eyes of some folks who deem it their responsibility to soak as much money from John Q. Public as they can get away with. No sh!ts are given to living within the means of the community, state and national governments. We as private citizens have to live within our means but it certainly seems that orthodoxy doesn't apply to any particular level of government.

I fear we as a society will not come to grips with these situations until it's well past the point of no return.

Luckily my state (AZ), has a senior program that freezes property taxes. As soon as I turned 65, I applied for it and figured I have already saved $250/yr.

When I built a home for beginning my family in the middle '70s California was merciless, like many states, with increasing property taxes yearly. Mine doubled or more the first 3 years of ownership and I wondered how long I was going to be a home owner. Then a terrific CA politician named Howard Jarvis got a thing called Proposition 13 through the red tape which limited increases to a miniscule percentage every year. It's still in effect despite many politicians trying every year to undo it.

The way they zap you out here is that when your house sells the new base for tax purposes is the selling price. Example: If you paid $50.000 when you bought it and it sole for $300,000 that's what the new owners tax rate would be based on. That may sound exorbitant in many states but I was a builder in CA for 40 years and nothing surprises me as far as home prices inflation. Sold my little beach house for nearly 600% more than I had in it when we moved to NorCal some 10 years later. Still choke on my prop tax bills but thankful that Prop 13 is still around or I'd be in a tent somewhere.

They'll find another way to squeeze you if not on property taxes. Los Angeles county has a sales tax rate of 10%, Tennessee has a sales tax on groceries leading a lot Of Memphis folks to cross the Big Muddy for grub in West Memphis, Arkansas, Texas people seem to talk of little but their ever increasing property taxes, etc. etc.

Just checked them out. Sounds like a very bad sceme. A very bad deal.

Blackrock, the world’s biggest asset manager, “buying every single family house they can find,” distorting prices, and locking out families.

I posted this from an article about Blackrock. Here is the site.

Builders are building to large of houses, to make more profit forcing buyers to buy them. When the Fed is forced to raise interest rates, which they are chicken to do so because the market controls them in a fear scheme, a massive bubble crash will happen in everything. Thus, allowing the Federal Government to step in with power. More money will be printed, massive debts, handing it out in Social programs for some. Most will be dependent because your taxes will go out the roof to pay for the free programs for some, free child care for some, free health care for some, free Social net for some, free housing for some, everything will be free for some, except you..

The house flippers cant find a deal on a house to flip & make a profit .... This has been going on for years .... Alot of people have bought into the single family home rental for income .... I have a customer that has 10 now .... Its his retirement income .... This is his way of investing in his retirement .... Now .... The stock market has got into it by buying homes in florida beach areas & doing air/BB to create capital ....This has been going on for some years now .... The investment companies are pushing this more now .... We looked at single family in N. Florida & prime areas have double & tripled in the past 10 years .... Its put buying a place out of reach ...

In parts of the country hedge funds are buying up massive amounts of rental properties. If it will cash flow they will jump on it with little or no thought to long term value of the property itself. If you are invested in a fund with rental property on the books best take heed.

Rezoning is taking place in the suburbs of many urban hellholes. Especially those that are in marxist/democrat ruled states and metropolitan hellholes. They are rezoning areas that heretofore have been zoned for single family homes and allowing multi-story apartment buildings to be built. Part of the theory behind this phenomenon is that the marxist/democrat ideolog politicians believe single family homes foment racism. Their goal is to not only displace people who own homes and live in the single family home areas but also to force more people into apartment style living and bring more inner city hellhole dwellers to the more suburban areas. This is believed to be in part the root causes of the rezoning and the exponential rise of property taxes. I gotta' believe there are people who will get very rich from this impending exodus.

Whether this theory holds any water or not remains to be seen but given the societal and political machinations beginning with racist hussein over the past decade and a half I'll consider any theory as feasible.

I think the bottom line here is when you give people in need free stuff ....Someone has to pay .... Im just frustrated because at the whole mess .... I remember in 2008 when gas went up & stock market crashed .... I just worked harded to keep going .... At one point gas for my work van to go to & from a job / back home was around 20 bucks a trip ...The supply houses I bought from raised there prices to cover fuel too .... But now we have idiots paying people more to stay home than go to work .... The big problem with online sales is local business fail & with that so does out tax income to our local goverment .... This is what happened when people left the big cities to go to the burbs ....

Yep. Obamacare lowered or gifted health care premiums to low income people, many who didn’t work or were underemployed. Who paid for it? Those that worked, you could see it coming.

California has now 'Guaranteed Monthly State Income' for mother ho's with children, along with the Federal Child payments. Every poor pregnant woman from around the world will show up. It is probably the first Socialist Monthly paychecks to evolve into full blown Socialism State Government checks with no pay ins..
