    Default Set ups

I have been out of racing for a while but I really enjoy reading your discussions on set ups. I was wondering with all the talk with shocks and springs do you move rear bars anymore?

A little, but not near as much of that as we used to.

With bar question, are teams still taking out or adding turns to bars?

It's not a common anymore to do it with turns since we can move the plates forward or back on either sides. Still a common adjustment, just done another way now

How do moving the plates forward or backwards equate to moving the bars up or down?

I quoted Jim on my reply on putting turns in or out of the bars (lengthening or shortening bar: IE wheel base), wasn't referring to the OP's question on moving bars

Thanks billet, I just misread that and your response makes way more sense now.
