    Default No Longhorns in WoO

9 cars on the WoO tour. 6 rockets, 1 MB custom, 1 Sniper, 1 Capital. Not one Longhorn car on the tour. Isn't that weird? Especially considering Overton, Davenport, Moran and McCreadies performance.

A Longhorn is what Weiss should of got instead of that tank that he calls a sniper. Locals with Wissota cars were passing him at Superior. Pretty hard to design and build chassis's and run up and down the road to races, plus maintenance.

Obviously you have no remembrance of the Hav-A-Tampa and STARS series. It was pretty much split between 2 chassis brands. HAT was mostly GRT chassis and STARS was mostly Rocket.

If you have a car you like, and can't buy it anywhere, you make more. It has nothing to do with thinking you are anybody.

He has had a bad year. It probably has little to nothing to do with the steel he assembled. Guys who get a new car and go fast again almost always benefit from the car being assemble correctly and stuff they messed up being passed on to someone else.

There are so many things to do wrong. Stuff people don't even think about. Take the limiter chain for instance. Say you have a car with the chain perfectly vertical at full droop. You routinely make a change during the night that increases the steer a touch. Now you get a new car where the chain is mounted a little off vertical where the chain runs a little forward as it comes down. Now when you make the same change, your car also loses some hike. That now also takes some dynamic wedge out of the car and the same change loosens the car way more. Many would just say the new car is junk.
