    Default Robin Miller

Just saw where Robin Miller passed away at 71.

I loved watching him on Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain back in the day. He was mostly an open wheel guy,but he could be very entertaining to watch and listen to. Definitely a "no filter" type personality!

The interviews and the roast with Uncle Bobby are classics for sure.

I didn't always agree with what he said, but I always respected his opinions,

    RIP Robin Miller.

What I always liked about Mr. Miller was his eager willingness to point out just how inconsistent NASCAR is in regards to rules enforcement and punishment and just how biased and downright stupid they are.

Mr. Miller preferred and greatly appreciated USAC and it's drivers and car owners. He also had no problem with saying what needed to be said about the shortcomings and blunders of big time American open wheel racing despite his undying love for that genre' of racing. Mr. Miller is quoted when asked about the CART-IRL split of the late 1990's, “People always ask me, who won the split, CART or IRL?” he continues. “I’ll tell you who won the split. NASCAR did.” He was spot on regarding that subject!

He was a treasured classic for sure. I like the fact that he told it as he saw it. RIP Robin Miller.

Yea, you may not have liked what he said sometimes as a competitor but he was usually spot on. He was truly one of a kind. RIP Mr. Miller
