Under rain delay. A cell popped up out of no where. Typical weather in the south.

Should be past in about 15 mins. Hope to be back going in a little bit.

Rain has stopped. They are rolling the track back in. Probably be about 30 to 45 mins before we get back at it. They have decided to only run SLM, 602 crate, 604 crate, mini stock and Vintage. All other classes cut.

They shouldn’t have had all the classes they had scheduled on the card to begin with. WAY too many. Ended up cutting 602 because the SLM feature went over curfew and the 604 features only ran 10laps. It was pretty good racing. JJ of hunt the front ended up on the hook and upset with someone. Be interesting to see that video. Highlight of the night had to be Jordy Nipper get out of his car after a bad wreck that put his car on top of the wall, and run on foot halfway around the track to confront another driver. Announcer said Jordy would have outran Sha'Carri Richardson at the speed he was running LOL.

That was a pretty entertaining night, with something for near everyone. Winger ran a flawless race leading from green to checkered. Overton put on his usual good run in brother Cody's car running 2nd most of the main, falling back to 4th or 5th midrace then coming back to a well earned runnerup spot. Dalton Cook ran top 5 all night ending up with a nice 3rd and was a good interview afterwards with genuine happiness to be on the podium and mentioning everyone that helped him without sounding like the usual robot sponsor shill.

A challenging track from the rain had tow trucks getting stuck in the mud on the bottom and pulling each other out, a couple of incidents with ticked off drivers banging the other guy after incidents, Nipper's afore mentioned Olympic worthy run after getting put hard into the wall, an overzealous announcer repeatedly naming a wrong driver in an incident and getting corrected by another announcer and some pretty good racing in the mid pack make the SAS series a fun watch. Could do without the zillion support classes though.

i could see running the 602 and the 604 classes with the SAS and maybe a Hornet Class and Street Stock. Since they dont run heats just qualify the late model classes then run a B main or 2 for the SAS. And just features for 602 and 604.

Jordy Nipper running on foot was crazy funny he was wide ass open. Could not believe how packed it was from race cars to fans.
