Well there an easy solution to this all you have to do is put the one that caused the wreck in the rear an the car that got wrecked his position back if he can continue.

Usually the rule at local tracks. Not that it could always be their driver's involved it seems as though the series would protect them.

"Dotting his eye" may not be the solution. Sammy Swindell has had his eyes dotted more times that anyone can count and it never altered his racing style one iota. And no, I'm not a Sammy fan nor am I a Sammy hater.


On the surface it would seem that arbitrary decisions made by race officials as to who goes to the back and who gets their position back is the deterrent that will fix the problem. The down side is there is going to be a grey area in many, if not most, on track incidents. I would be all for it if there was a way to keep official's mistakes/misinterpretation and race track politics out of it.

Great video. One could plainly see that Bobby had the left front tire was sliding as he had his brake on. As the expert that they interviewed said, Madden used young Bobby up on the restart.

i watched swindell stuff kinser into the wall at the start of a race. kinser walked down the track and drilled sammy right in the face. why he didnt put his helmet back on when he seen steve walking to him and the crowd screaming to kick his butt ill never know haha.
