His run was fun to watch. As a JD fan, had me a bit scared. Awesome job, Marlar.

no doubt ride height , he was the class of the field , looked he was slightly gaining on jd the last few laps , makes one wander what would have happened if he had started mid pack .....

I like Marlar, but he did get a chance to restart from second. He wasn't good enough. He was a tenth or more slower.

Yep, Davenport in the clean air was tough. He even made the remark in victory lane about it.

You would think the rule makers would ponder on that one a little LOL.

Congrats to Marlar thou, great run, great guy.

    Just say no...

For some reason, the rule makers want to bark up every tree except the one with a coon in it. Most were alive and involved in the early 80s. I guess they can't remember squat.

Clean air is hard to beat, that is why restarts are so important. 49's ability to get the jump and pass the 76 was the only reason the 76 didn't win. Marlar just was not able to get the jump on the 49 in his one chance. IMO

I gotta disagree. 76 was struggling and running a different line. He wasn't even in Marlar's league and Marlar wasn't good enough.
