    Default Can JD win Knoxville?

Judging by Davenports post race comments on DoD, JD's confidence driving Knoxville is pretty low. He doesn't like the track... (to narrow) Cant communicate to crew what he needs to go fast. Cant get the car on the cushion.....something about angles and air pockets. Enough JD! You'll luv Knoxville when you pick up the 50k check Saturday.

Him and Overton are cleaning up the big shows this year and big sexy is down in big TX. I’d put my money on JD at Knoxville but Tmac loves Knoxville so I would never count him out. I’m hoping for those two to battle for the lead a bit tomorrow night

    Can he? Yes

Will he? After night #1, probably not.

IMO, McCreadie was the best car all night long last night. Reminds me of how Francis ran the year he won, super consistent on qualifying night(s) and was the best car again on Saturday.

I didn’t see Pierce’s name in the rundown for last night at Knoxville so how will he be able to do that?

Remember Francis 2012 post race comments....Knoxville, a drivers race track. The best car can win starting 30th...... Francis said the best and most prestigious win of his career.............. Vande, I think your right. TMac probably the favorite .......For my money Knoxville is real racing.

Aside from several of the usual silly comments in the thread, I will answer the Mud Man. JD can always win, but I have to think Tmac and Marlar might be more likely to take the top prize this week.

I still think Heckenast is going to be the winner Saturday. It is a 100 lap race. So far the feature races were just 25 lap sprints. Hechenast is hungry.
