Midwest Sheet Metal Caution Flag to Fly Again at 2022 Wild West Shootout
Mega Event Set for January 8, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 16, 2022 at Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (September 22, 2021) — When the 2022 edition of the Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts comes to life on January 8-16, the Midwest Sheet Metal Caution Flag will once again fly at the mega miniseries. While the 16th edition of the event will be held for the first time at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park, the Midwest Sheet Metal Caution Flag will be a part of the event for the third-straight year.

“Chris Davis is not only a great friend, who I know is always a phone call away, but he’s also an amazing supporter of racing. You see his company’s name at events all over the place, and if Chris isn’t at a race, he’s almost always tuned into the broadcast to keep up with what’s going on. He’s a true race fan at heart, and he goes out of his way to support our event,” noted Wild West Shootout event manager Ben Shelton. “As much as Midwest Sheet Metal does to give back to racing, I truly hope racers and fans support the company whenever they can.”
Announcers will again identify every slowdown in the action over the six-race meet that stretches from January 8-16 as a Midwest Sheet Metal Caution Flag.
Chris, who alongside his wife Jan, operates the second-generation, family-owned Springfield, Missouri company. Midwest Sheet Metal specializes in the design and custom fabrication of carbon steel, stainless and aluminum products.

“It’s a lot of fun to hear our company’s name mentioned so many times during such a big event. The Wild West Shootout comes at a great time every year for me,” Davis said. “The weather around here (in Missouri’s Ozark Mountain Country) is usually pretty miserable that time of year, the holidays are over, and it gets dark at 5 in the evening, so there's not a lot that I can be doing at the farm at night. I think all of us racers are really missing our racing at this time of year, so this gives us something to look forward to.

“We have a lot of friends and customers, who race at the Wild West Shootout, and it’s fun to be able to keep tabs on how they are doing.”
