    ohh some these peoples on here and the regurgitation of that very COMMON thought........ ''Cherry Piking". Some will never get it, some of US more than aware / understand what it takes , how much $ does go in to doing this sport. especially all these long haul traveling teams. They are more than welcome hit any dam race/race track they CHOOSE in my book/ some our books............

    Add a heaping spoonful of dry cherry jello powder to some onion salt, black pepper,garlic and cayenne….rub on spareribs….put in smoker over hickory……you’re welcome

    This sounds interesting and I might try Barbecueboy's recipe, but the problem is pike aren't too common down here in the south. My understanding is they are more of a cold water fish. So, I guess the "cherry piking" will be more for you northern guys.

    Lol, nope I’ve drug a bunch of fish over the rail in my lifetime of living at or near the coast….never hooked a pike once.

    Try the cherry jello in the rib rub, it’s pretty tasty

    You can use either, set up the regular grill with indirect heat.
    Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
