Penske Racing Shocks $300,000 Paydirt Jackpot Announced for 2022 Wild West Shootout
Mega Event Set for January 8, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 16, 2022 at Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (October 5, 2021) — Penske Racing Shocks has stepped up to offer a monumental bonus for the Super Late Model competitors during the 16th annual Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park.

If a driver can win all six Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model features presented by Black Diamond Race Cars, he or she will receive a $300,000 bonus as part of the brand-new Penske Racing Shocks $300,000 Paydirt Jackpot. The bonus program also includes a $100,000 incentive for five wins and a $25,000 bonus for four miniseries victories.

“Penske Shocks is extremely excited to be a part of this great event. We started coming out to Arizona to attend the event around 2016, and it’s become such a great way to kick off the beginning of the season,” said Penske Racing Shocks General Manager, Aaron Lambert. “This event gets bigger every year, and to be able to support this event, like this, it means a lot. One lucky team could really make their entire year before they even get started. Every year, more and more of the top drivers make their way out to the Wild West Shootout, and we are really hoping to see one of them break the record and capture this huge payday!

“We can’t thank everyone enough for giving us the opportunity to sponsor this event. We are proud to come out to New Mexico and support all our racers and really hope we get to see everyone in 2022 at this great race.”

With the Wild West Shootout offering five features paying $5,000 to win and the $25,000-to-win Rio Grande Waste Services finale presented by Shaw Trucking, a driver able to pull off the feat of sweeping the miniseries would depart Arizona with over $353,000 in earnings including the Penske Racing Shocks $300,000 Paydirt Jackpot bonus as well as the $3,000 champion’s check.

“To be able to offer a $300,000 bonus for a miniseries sweep is pretty freaking awesome,” commented Wild Shootout Promoter, Chris Kearns. “Just this year, we’ve seen guys get red-hot in Dirt Late Model racing and accomplish some things that most never thought was possible. With that said, it won’t be an easy feat for a driver to sweep all six events, but if they do not only do they get the $300,000 bonus from Penske, but they also win over $53,000 in first place and point money in a nine-day stretch. That’s pretty awesome, and I’m very grateful to have the increased support of Penske Racing Shocks for the 2022 Wild West Shootout.”
