Nick Hoffman Sweeps Iron-Man Modified Pretty-N-Pink Weekend
411 Motor Speedway and Portsmouth Raceway Park Up Next

Mooresville, North Carolina (10/11/21) – Nick Hoffman broke out the broom over the weekend and swept both nights of Boyd’s Speedway’ Pretty-N-Pink weekend in his Elite Chassis No. 2 Wehrs Machine / Fox Shocks Modified.

He collected over $4,200 for his winning performances with the Valvoline Iron-Man Modified Series as his 2021-win total soared to 36.

“We swept the weekend at Boyd’s Speedway. Very cool racetrack and facility. I don’t think I’ve ever raced at a track where you pit in one state and race in another, but Boyd’s is that way with Tennessee and Georgia…. Pretty wild deal. The highlight of my weekend was getting to meet the legendary Mark Martin, and hear his stories and talk about racecars,” Hoffman shared. “This coming week we hope to enter a pair of Super Late Model events, so I’m looking forward to that. Thanks as always to everyone, who supports our program.”

Nick Hoffman was back in the driver’s seat on Friday night with the opening round of the Pretty-N-Pink Modified event at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.). Hoffman paced the 32-car Valvoline Iron-Man Modified Series field in qualifying with a 15.341-second lap. Earning the pole position for the feature, Nick led all 20 laps to claim the $1,200 victory as his 2021-win total increased to 35.

He was followed across the finish line by Cole Falloway, Ricky Arms, Michael Asberry, and Blake Brown.

Hoffman was back in action at the 1/4-mile oval on Saturday night with a $3,000 top prize on the line for the Pretty-N-Pink finale. For the second-straight night Nick swept the program.

He set fast time in qualifications over the 28-car field with a 15.275-second lap. He then won his heat race to earn the pole position for the feature. The 30-lap finale found Hoffman driving away from the field to win by 3.169 seconds for his third-career Valvoline Iron-Man Series victory and his 36th overall win of the 2021 campaign.

Ricky Arms Cole Falloway, Brandon Kinzer, and Kenny Wallace completed the Top-5 finishers.

The upcoming week has Hoffman tentatively slated to compete in a pair of big-paying Dirt Late Model events with Scott Bloomquist Racing. On Tuesday, October 12 Hoffman is scheduled to take the No. 0NH entry into battle at Mitch McCarter’s 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) in a $20,000-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event. If everything goes well there the team plans to enter the 41st annual Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park on Friday and Saturday. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) weekend culminates with a $100,000-to-win finale.
