LOUDON, Tenn. (10/18/21) – Cory Hedgec ock swept Saturday night’s American All-Star Series action at Smoky Mountain Speedway in his E-Z-GO No. 23 Green’s Recycling / I-75 Raceway / Black Diamond Race Car / Eagle Racing Engine Late Model.

The victory came on the heels of a fifth-place finish on Tuesday night in Castrol FloRacing Late Model Night in America action at 411 Motor Speedway.

“Fast time in qualifying, dash win, and lead every lap of the feature for the ‘dub.’ Our car was truly untouchable on Saturday night,” Hedgec ock said. “We had a pretty good run on Tuesday night at 411 Motor Speedway too. This week we’re going to enter another Castrol event on Wednesday night at Volunteer (Speedway), and then we are weighing out if we will run I-75 Raceway on Saturday or go to Florida for the big race at All-Tech Raceway.

Cory Hedgec ock made a mid-week trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Tuesday to compete in the sixth round of the rain-plagued Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series.

With 26 Late Models entered, Hedgec ock clocked in seventh-fastest overall before placing second in his heat race. Earning the fourth-starting position for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Cory raced to as high as the third position in the 50-lap affair before ultimately registering a fifth-place finish. He trailed Jimmy Owens, Jonathan Davenport, Nick Hoffman, and Brandon Overton across the line.

Behind the wheel of his Green’s Recycling No. 23 Late Model, Cory Hedgec ock invaded Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday evening to do battle with the American All-Star Series.

After topping the 22-car field in time trials, Hedgec ock outran Cameron Weaver in his dash to lock into the pole position for the A-Main. Turning back Mack McCarter’s challenge after a late-race caution, Cory stormed to his 11th win of the season, which came ahead of McCarter, Dillon Brown, Logan Roberson, and Zach Sise. He pocketed $5,000.
