SPRING CITY, TN – Mountain View Raceway will present the last race of the 2021 racing season on Saturday afternoon with the 2nd Annual Trunk Or Treat Race. The event will feature all seven Weekly Racing Divisions in action plus a $1,000-to-win 100-lap Enduro Race and a Demolition Derby under the sun on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval.

The Late Model, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder, and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions will run Feature Races. The 100-lap Enduro and the Demolition Derby will take place at the end of the day.

The Enduro Race is a survival of the fittest for 100 laps in basically stock automobiles with modifications made for driver safety. The only time the race will be stopped is if the track is completely blocked, a safety precaution, or for an unannounced surprise. So, if a car stalls on the track and can’t be restarted, the driver better hunker down because that’s where the car will sit until the race is over.

The format for the Demolition Derby is very simple. A field of cars will line-up in the infield and crash into each other, trying to disable their opponents without going out of bounds. There will be no hiding, as there will be a time limit to where a car must make contact with another car. The winner will be the last car running.

The kids will also be a part of the Trunk Or Treat event, as candy from the race car drivers will be handed out to the little ghosts and goblins’ during Intermission between Hot Lap Qualifying and the Feature Races.

The Pit Gate and the Grandstand/Tier Parking Gates will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning with Pre-Race Technical Inspection and Registration from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 12 Noon with Hot Lap Qualifying set for 12:15 p.m.

Pit Passes will be $25 for Adults, $15 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under will be admitted Free. The General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices will be $10 for race fans 12 and older, Children 6-11 will be $5. and Children 5 and under will be admitted Free. All Children must be accompanied by an Adult.
