Rancho Milagro Racing and Eagle Moon Hemp Boost Modified and X-Mod Purses for 2022 Wild West Shootout
Mega Event Set for January 8, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 16, 2022 at Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (October 28, 2021) — With the 16th annual Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts just a little over two months away, more local businesses close to Vado Speedway Park have come on board with a focus on supporting the racers. This time the focus is on the Modified and X-Mod divisions.

Thanks to Rancho Milagro Racing, the new presenting sponsor for the Modifieds, the class will now race four nights (up from 2) for the increased $2,000 to win purse and thanks to Eagle Moon Hemp, the X-Mods will now race four nights (up from 2) for the increased $1,000 to win purse.

A third entity, Top of the World Ranch is also a part of the purse increases.

The Mesilla Valley Transportation / Border Tire Modifieds presented by Rancho Milagro will race for $2,000 to win on both Saturday and Sunday shows (Jan 8, 9, 15 and 16) and the RHRSwag.com X-Mods presented by Barnett Harley Davidson will race for $1,000 to win on the same four dates.

“I am super excited to have Ed and Trudy “GT” (Healy) on board with us as we bring the event to them in New Mexico, rather than them traveling to us which is what they are used to,” said event marketing director Jason Babyak. “They are the sponsors of their grandsons (Johnny and Stormy Scott), who are event regulars. The Healy family also supports FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park as well as several other racers, so this is a great fit for them for added exposure for their businesses.”

For the Healy family, having the Wild West Shootout in their backyard is an exciting development for 2022.

“Rancho Milagro Racing, Eagle Moon Hemp, and Top of the World Ranch are very excited to see the Wild West Shootout come to our home state of New Mexico. This event fits in perfectly with the passions that we support; farming, ranching, rodeo and dirt track racing,” said owners Ed and Trudy “GT” Healy.

Out of Taos, NM, Rancho Milagro grows organic hay for dairies, operates a mother cow calf operation and is heavily involved in team roping. The group's main ranch is called Top of The World Ranch and the Healy Foundation funds multiple land and water initiatives in the region. In addition to a strong focus on water conservation and irrigation issues, Ed and Trudy “GT” Healy also support several racing teams, including Scott Brothers Racing and team roping where they sponsor Rancho Milagro Team Roping and the New Mexico Rodeo Association.

Out of Deming, NM, Eagle Moon Hemp offers a variety of CBD products wholesale as well as retail direct from the manufacturer. For their raw CBD products, they have distillate which typically contains about 80% CBD and comes in two varieties. Full-spectrum contains less than 0.3% THC and a T-Free Distillate that contains no-detectable amounts of THC via third party testing.
