SPRING CITY, TN – Mountain View Raceway Officials have announced the postponement of Saturday’s Trunk or Treat Race to Sunday afternoon. Heavy rain is forecasted to Saturday, and the weather system producing the precipitation is forecast to be out of the area by Sunday.

The racing program and the scheduled times will remain the same for the Sunday afternoon event with Feature Races for the Late Model, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions followed by a $1,000-to-win Enduro Race and a Demolition Derby.

The kids will also be a part of the Trunk Or Treat event on Sunday afternoon, as candy from the race car drivers will be handed out to the little ghosts and goblins during Intermission between Hot Lap Qualifying and the Feature Races.

The Pit Gate and the Grandstand/Tier Parking Gates will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning with Pre-Race Technical Inspection and Registration from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 12 Noon with Hot Lap Qualifying set for 12:15 p.m.

Pit Passes will be $25 for Adults, $15 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under will be admitted Free. The General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices will be $10 for race fans 12 and older, Children 6-11 will be $5. and Children 5 and under will be admitted Free. All Children must be accompanied by an Adult.
