$10,000 Bonus on the Line for Modifieds; $2,500 Bonus Posted for X-Mods

Vado, NM (Nov. 17, 2021) — Big announcements continue to abound for the 2022 Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park.

The latest development is the brand-new Four or More Challenge for both the Mesilla Valley Transportation / Border Tire Modifieds presented by Rancho Milagro and the RHRSwag.com X-Mods presented by Barnett Harley-Davidson.

If a Modified driver can win four or more features during the six-race miniseries, he or she will receive a $10,000 bonus courtesy of Rio Grande Waste Services. Meanwhile, if an X-Mod competitor can win four or more events, he or she will be rewarded with a $2,500 bonus, courtesy of Arizona Differential LLC by Nate.

“It’s exciting to be able to roll out these bonus incentives for the Modified and X-Mod racers. With these bonuses a driver in the Modifieds could win as much as $20,000 during the week if they sweep everything, and an X-Mod racer could leave with as much as $7,500,” said Wild West Shootout promoter,” Chris Kearns. “These two divisions are the backbone of our event, and being able to recently boost their purses and now add these bonuses is something we are proud to offer. I want to thank both Nate Warren with Arizona Differential LLC by Nate and Larry Henk with Rio Grande Waste Services for making this all possible.”

The sponsorship of the Modified division bonus is yet another way that Larry Henk and Rio Grande Waste Services is supporting the 16th annual Wild West Shootout.

“Once again, Larry (Henk) from Rio Grande Waste Services has stepped up to add more excitement to the event, and this time it’s for the Modified division,” said Wild West Shootout marketing director, Jason Babyak. “For sure he has a passion for dirt racing as a whole, and his support of the event continues to grow. I thank him for his efforts, and I am excited to help spread the word on his new venture with Rio Grande Waste Services.”

The bonus announcements come on the heels of the recent details of purse increases for both divisions. Thanks to Rancho Milagro Racing, the new presenting sponsor for the Modifieds, the class will now race four nights (up from 2) for the increased $2,000 to win purse and thanks to Eagle Moon Hemp and Top of the World Ranch, the X-Mods will now race four nights (up from 2) for the increased $1,000 to win purse.
