    Default Eldora Million is BACK!

ROSSBURG, Ohio – Eldora Speedway® and official livestream partner, FloSports, a leader in sports streaming and original content, today announced the return of The Eldora Million®, one of the most legendary events in the history of the hallowed high-banked half-mile clay oval.

For just the second time ever – on Thurs., June 9, 2022 – the blue-collar superstars of Dirt Late Model racing will compete for a winner’s purse of $1 million dollars.

The Eldora Million® will feature a full-program of heat races, last chance showdowns, and culminate with the $1,002,022-to-win Championship Feature. The initial seeding for Thursday’s heat races will be set on Wed., June 8, via a program of tournament-style preliminary features.

The combination of two giant shows – The Eldora Million® and the 28th running of the $128,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream® on Sat., June 11 – in a span of four days, creates one of the richest open competition events in motorsports history with posted prize money already exceeding $1.9 million

The much hated Tony Stewart shines once again as a giant in Dirt racing. Should be a dandy

It would be pretty cool to see Devin Moran win it.

2022 is shaping up to be the biggest year in Late Model racing history. Crazy amount of awesome, high paying events. Gonna be tough making out a personal schedule but obviously that one is at the top of the board.

I would expect a $400 to $500 entry fee and $100 pit pass and $80 for stands for Wednesday and Thursday and around 200 cars.

Car count will be interesting, but it won't be anywhere near 200. It will also show people who believe more money to start will entice more to come just isn't true. The best will be there and that's all that matters.

I would expect an entry list come March that way they could promote it.

That is some purse. Wonder if Overton has piggy bank ready? Event will draw over 100 cars for sure.
Wonder what World 100 week is going to look like? Really a great time to be a LM dirt fan.

BTW, Larson will be able to compete in it too.

And my tickets are already reserved since we already had Dream tickets. Just add it to the total. Paid I think $80/ticket at the first one and will pay whatever it is this time. It was a relief to see 2021 Dream Ticket holders get first dibs.

Can have 200 cars and the same 7-8 cars have the only chance of winning if it was 80 cars.

If I had to bet it will be maybe around 100 cars. Don’t think it’ll be anywhere near 200. Either way, only 6-8 will have a legit shot of winning it.
