Default Hangover @ 411 Shifts To One Day Show (Friday)

SEYMOUR, TN (December 28, 2021)—Officials with 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. have revised the Hangover Race Schedule in hopes of beating the forecast for the weekend. The event will be condensed to a one-day show on Friday, December 31 featuring 8 divisions of racing. There will be a practice on Thursday, December 30.

Thursday’s Practice will be open at all classes from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The cost will be $20.00 in the pits. The stands will be free for practice.

Friday’s action will feature the Super Late Models racing for $5,000 to win, the Open Wheel Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win, the 604 Late Models will race for $1,500 to win, the 602 Late Models will race for $700 to win, the Classics will race for $500 to win, the Sportsman will race for $700 to win, the FWD (VVT/VTEC rules) will race for $500 to win while the FWD (411 rules) will race for $500 to win.

    *** Attention FWD***
You can run in both classes but you will have to have two separate cars. That doesn’t mean you can change drivers and compete in both races. One car. One race.

604 Late Models will fall under 411 Motor Speedway rules. Also, 411 Motor Speedway would like to thank the Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series for trying to race but with weather coming both parties agreed it wouldn’t be fair to guys coming from a long distance that we’re chasing points in this mini-series and hurt the points racing. 411 Motor Speedway and the series hope to try to do another race with them sometime in 2022.

Friday’s times will be: pit Gates opening at 9:00 am, stands open at 11:00 am with drivers meeting at 12:30 pm, and hot laps to follow. Grandstand admission is $20.00 for adults, while children 12-under are $5.00 in the stands. Pit passes are $35.00 for adults while children 12-under are $5.00 in the pits.

Officials from the Valvoline Iron-Man Series/CT Promotions will officiate the Super Late Model portion of the weekend’s racing events and will run under their rules and procedures. There will be no entry fee. The Super Late Model tire rule will be as follows: Left Rear/Fronts-Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48; Right Rear-Hoosier 1350, Hoosier 1600 or American Racer 48 or American Racer 56; (NO 29.0 size tires on the left rear and there is NO droop rule). Transponders for timing/scoring purposes MUST be rented from the track and mounted on the left front.
The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series/CT Promotions will officiate the Open Wheel Modified portion of the program for the weekend and will be run under their rules and procedures. Last year was my 1st ever there and in their defense the show was run well considering all the classes and track held well but it rained out prior and run everything Sunday. Yes it got slightly choppy but not horrible considering circumstances. They had time limits on divisions, like or not, and they ran 4 divisions of a late model, which I thought way overkill. They did keep show moving and efficient! Overall I don't want 9 divisions in 1 day but they did ok with it. I don't like super format of qualify then b mains etc but it worked for occasion. I will give them another shot and that's more than I can say for other tracks

If you only had 11 entries in the supers and you did not get to qualify, why would you not allow any new entries on the reschedule the next day?
