Has that place been kept up all this time? Seems like a ton of mowing and maintenance for a place that hasn't opened the gates since the early-2000's or so.

I would think that they need to remove all of those steel plates being used as walls in the turns, and here is what they really did wrong when they built the place they built the grandstands on the wrong side of the track, and you have to face the sun until it totally sets, winds generally blow right into the stands also.

I had a fresh ground hamburger there one time that was quite possibly the best I've ever had period. They used their own beef or a neighbor farmers best I remember.

The track itself I pretty big, a bit under a 1/2 miler.

The track was not in a location to draw many locals, so it would have to be a special event track, or not run LMs weekly.

I only ran there a few times back in the early 2000's, and from what I remember of it, I'd still put the place in my top-5 favorite tracks. But in today's economy, I think the only thing more foolish than buying a racecar would be buying a track. Maybe someone can make a go of it. Even though I'd probably never make it back, I'd love to hear that it was up and running again.
