He is going to run $20,000 and up races. Will he be the one to be able to put those bullish Longhorns in their place in the big high paying events ? ? ?

Here is a guarantee. If he is just going to run a handful of big paying events, he has no chance of winning any of them. NONE!! That strategy has never worked and it certainly isn't going to work now.

He may never win another SLM race.

Need lots of testing and track time. I think you are right.

Sadly, this is true. It's not just his car but it's his mindset. I've seen him out front in a race and as soon as one car passes him it's like he just mentally folds.

His lack of physical fitness is what’s holding him back. In the heat race he won last year at the World 100, he looked like he just ran 100 laps with no power steering. Dude was gassed.

Any driver that does not run weekly and on a regular basis, is not going to be successful trying to hit just a handfull of top events.

I think most of us, whether you're a fan of his or not, know what his performance potential is. His fans (me included) should just be enjoying the ride while it lasts, and be happy with an occasional good result when it comes.

Any sport is better when the villain is in the mix.

Lot to be said for a good villain. Dale E and Scotty perfected it. LOL

The stars would have to align.

How can you call yourself a "news site" when all you do is copy whats was in a Lucas Oil Race Broadcast and call it 'news'?

A true news website would have reached out to Scott personally.

Maybe Wells will let him drive the 76 for one race.

They should've let old Bloomy get some seat time in those first few races that didn't mean a whole heck of a lot at E-Bay ? ?

This sport has become a young man's game. Just look at the guys that are running up front. Thorton,ONeal,Moran,,Winger,English, Tyler Erb, Sheppy. Age is one thing. Staying physically fit is another. Like Penn. said, the stars would have to align perfectly.
Fast time, win heat, locked down feature? Generally doesn't happen to often at the type of events he has scheduled.

Have you even seen the dude that runs that racing news page? It doesn't look like he gets out much.
