Something has happened out on I-85. The traffic is bumper-to-bumper. Anybody else notice that?

No sitting in my recliner, I've turned into one of those guys that doesn't go unless it's a lot warmer.

Yea those guys put on a good show. Hopefully they do more of this. I realize this was a stop for most guys heading back up north. I thought the racing was excellent.

That was a pretty good race. Certainly one of the better ones I've seen from Cherokee.

Heard on the Flo broadcast last night that the track did something for track prep that they never tried before at the suggestion of Bret Deyo the Modified promoter: They cut the top and left it alone in order to let a natural curb develop. I'd say it worked as there was definitely two racing groves. Great job Cherokee!

I've said it for a long time. Why WRG doesn't put the same system you see these mods run is beyond me. Everyone knows you time bad and you've got a uphill battle the rest of the night. Those 20 lap qualifiers were some of the best racing I have seen.

Would the extra laps run contribute to more time spent at the track in the long run ? ? We see all of the time on here where members get to whining if the races aren't done by 10 o'clock or earlier...

Raceready. You start on time, you keep the pace of the show moving along, time trials sometimes take forever. Pulling a pill for your 20 lap qualifiers you better be up on the wheel. It will never happen, there too da* stubborn. Promotors today want to sell that last hot dog that's been laying there all night and some don't care if it takes 1AM to do so.

At some of these tracks one gets the feeling that they are being held hostage. I disdain the tracks that keep having " brief intermissions " that last around 25 minutes or so with the hope that they can clean out the food that they have left.

You'd have to get all of the LM series on board with the format change. SLM drivers would just flock to another sires with time trials if WRG adopted this format. I totally agree it's a much better format and would prefer it, but the drivers would be up in an uproar over this change.
