    Default Lucas Oil @411 Motor Speedway Canceled This Weekend

    Batavia, OH (March 7, 2022) – Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and 411 Motor Speedway officials have agreed to cancel this weekend’s double header event due to the continual forecasted rain, snow, and cold to below freezing temperatures during, and leading up to the event. The Series looks forward to a return visit to 411 Motor Speedway in March of 2023.

    The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will return to action on Friday, March 18th at Atomic Speedway for the Buckeye Spring 50 and Saturday, March 19th at Brownstown Speedway for the Indiana Icebreaker.     Forecast is calling for rain Friday
    23 degrees at 10:00pm Saturday- with possible snow.

    Looks like no make up date for 411. Last year the race was canceled. Since Dixie and Rome have canceled the season this year. That weekend would be available if 411 wanted a make up date. This weekend was going to be the biggest purse in the history of the track. That weekend should be a great weekend for visiting the mountains for the fall foliage.

    We probably would have made this trip if it were to happen this way. I don't know how they figure out what races will be made up, and what ones won't. It seems the early atomic race always has a rain date.

    411 has the Flo Race Night in America on the 11th, which would be the Tuesday after the Lucas week in Georgia...Don't think that's a feasible plan for many tracks in the nation.

    Theyre supposed to get some heavy snow friday and friday night though and cold saturday
