Gassed up one of the 5 trucks on the ranch a couple of days ago at the BP in town at $5.19 for regular 87. Went by there yesterday and it was $5.69 and they're one of the cheapest stations in town.

Really not looking fondly at the 6-800 mile weekends we will frequently tow this summer when it's costing me roughly $.75-$1.00 per mile for gas. Sure hope we win a lot so we can cover about the usual 20% of what we spend. This sport is a real addiction.

Another thing to look at, I would think, that half or more will be camping and those campers drink the gas, plus running the generator for a week will just add more expense. The gas prices may keep a few campers home.

LOLOL ; Just make sure that if you have a portable generator that you chain it on down because the scumbag thieves will nab it anymore just to take the gas in it ! ! Keep watch especially at Eldora where there have many reports of generators, golf carts, coolers etc. being fodder for a thief in the night! ! Heck they even have stolen in broad daylight there...

You are right. Pure greed and exploitation of a horrible war.

Best way to fight greed is to not buy their product if not necessary. Leisure trips are not a necessity. But most people won’t make a temporary sacrifice to fight greed. So they will continue to complain about the price while they feed the source!
