I said it awhile ago. Your going to see more do it. Costs have gone up drastically. How can you blame them ?

This year is going to change national touring late models drastically. It’s not so much the costs as it the options to make money outside of a natijbak

And options to race locally or regionally are disappearing.

Yeah, local super racing is dead in most of the country. Not so much in my part of the world, but still.

But regionally, I’m not so sure. There is still a giant pile of regional tours. In a lot of areas, there’s more than one.

It's more the local option, but not long ago I was spoiled for choice within 2 hours of home. Every week with multiple options. Now, there are weeks I have zero if I don't buy a $10k, 400 hp, turd engine.

We are still holding out, but it's getting hard. It won't lower our costs, only the purse we run for. It's bad math for us.

You hit nail on head. They have created a class to pay less and costs aren't really that different. Fans keep paying to watch it so promoters keep giving it

We are lucky around here to have the Blue Ridge late model series. They allow just about any late model to run and they make it work. Races are great.

Didn't see this one coming. It's not like the Bronson clan is hurting for $$. He could use the provisionals to get in some shows. The top guys (Overton, Davienport, Moran, etc) can bounce around and not worry too much, but the mid pack-ish guys are a different story. This year will be interesting to see how it all plays out! If all of these bigger $$ races hold for next year and the 2 National tours, it could really be wild!! We shall see.

Didn't he just get married? Every race car driver on the planet races less when they get married, at least in the first year or two.
