SPRING CITY, TN – The 2022 Points Season begins this Saturday night at Mountain View Raceway. Points towards the 2022 Division Championships will be awarded for the Late Model, Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder, Front-Wheel-Drive and Junior Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions.

The B-Sportsman Division will also be in action at Mountain View Raceway this Saturday night. The B-Sportsman Division is a beginner’s Division that do not race for points or prize money. The Junior Front-Wheel-Drive Division is also a beginner’s Division for kids 15 years of age and younger.

The 2021 defending champions are Barry Goodman of Spring City, TN in Late Model, Joe Bray of New Tazewell, TN in Sportsman, Billy Palmer of Knoxville, TN in Open-Wheel Modified, Johnny Hughes of Graysville, TN in B-Sportsman, Clayton Forsyth of Crossville, TN in Thunder, and Nick Adams of Crossville, TN in Front-Wheel-Drive. A new season of racing brings out new drivers, new cars, and new points battles.

This Saturday, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m. and the Grandstand and Tier Parking Gates open at 4 p.m. Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6:15 p.m. and Hot Laps are scheduled for 6:45 p.m.

Pit Passes are $25 for Adults, $15 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. The General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices are $10 for race fans 12 and older, Children 6-11 are $5. and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. All Children must be accompanied by an Adult.
