Park Jefferson International Speedway welcomes fans back to one of South Dakota’s fastest 3/8th-mile dirt tracks Thursday, April 21, through Saturday, April 23.Three days of celebration begin Thursday, April 21. Fans are invited to the annual Champions Recognition event that evening. The top five finishers from the 2021 season will receive trophies and plaques. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with food provided at 6:30 and trophies awarded at 7 pm. Hy-Vee will cater the event with beer and soda available. Tickets for the event are $15 and can be purchased on the night of the event at the track.Opening weekend continues with the first Friday Test and Tune of the season April 22. Tri-State late models and the complete schedule of International Motor Contest Association divisions will be on hand to warm up for the first night of racing. That intro leads to the 2022 opener Saturday, April 23.
