Not sure I’d anoint him yet, although he had a good weekend for sure. After some recent outings many felt Scott was on his way back but didn’t see many of those comments this last weekend. Success in racing, as in many other walks of life, can be fleeting.
    I hate time trials.

Good thing about JD is that he is well grounded . I enjoy both for who they are and their success on the track.

Bloomer shot his own self in the foot...again!

Trying to qualify on the bottom both nights put him well back in the heats!

Plus, he wasnt using the same car he has had the most recent success with, either!

The zero 18 car needs a win soon. Sunshine needs to strike soon.

Jd may have had a good night , but Kyle Strickler was more consistent . I would say Kyle Strickler was the man to beat.

Strickler just had back-to-back runner up finishes at All Tech. He made $40,000 total for those two nights. That’s not a bad weekend. He was definitely struggling before this, but he seemed to find something at All Tech against some really strong competition.

I believe that if the track conditions were typical your J.D. guy would have took it. Although Larsons name will get out there in the media and that brings some DLM attention to the outside world that takes the wide road as far of knowledge of the DIRT activities. . .

Larson does help market the sport. No doubt.

That was an entertaining race with the unexpected track surface and showed who was adaptable to something but the usual black slick surface most of the LM guys prefer. Obviously, Larson was in his element when, as he said in his interview, the track was roughed up as he liked it in Sprints.

Davenport gave it a good go and was his usual classy self in post race interview. Sheppy ran well but for the 2 laps to go yellow he wasn't going to finish on the podium. Strickler was quite good in the heats but the flat with 2 to go killed his chances. Young Spencer Hughes ran well all night and I'd hoped to see teenage Sam Seawright do as well but he didn't quite get there.

The Mods and Super Stocks ran their heats at an appropriate time while the LMs regrouped and, properly, ran their mains last. Mod builder/driver and ex Cup guy David Stremme had a good night and was surprised to see Rick Eckert run 3rd in the Mods. Also enjoyed the Super Stocks to compare them to what we run out west.

All things considered, a good show without a lot of dead time and thanks to Flo and Castrol and look forward to Brownsville tonight.

Yeah Bobby's been out cherry picking lately. He's been running against the nobody's of the world. You know like Davenport, Overton, McCreadie, Marlar, Sheppard lol
