After having the annual Iron Cup postponed due to heavy rain, Park Jefferson International Speedway looks forward to returning to action Saturday, May 7.With Mothers Day right around the corner, moms will have their day at PJIS with free clubhouse admission. They’ll be treated to a busy night of racing with the Midwest Sprint Touring Series making a southeastern South Dakota stop.The wildly-popular MSTS sprint cars and sprint touring series will be on hand to thrill fans of all ages. A regular session of IMCA Modifieds, SportMods, J&J Fitting Stock Cars, Q and Feather Again Hobby Stocks, and Fox 620 KMNS Sport Compacts will tussle with season points on the line.Gates and pits open at 5 p.m., with hot laps beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets for the Saturday, May 7 event can be purchased through the Park Jefferson International Speedway website at parkjeff.com. Fans can also find their favorite PJIS merchandise to be outfitted for the season opener through the track website.
