It depends on the situation. Like tonight at EAMS. They had a longer than usual “brief intermission”, but they were prepping the track — which resulted in a racey surface — and they still got the super late model show in by just after 10:30 local time. I know EAMS has a bad reputation, but tonight’s was a good show, IMO.

What about a "brief intermission", and they don't even work on the track? That's what's aggravating! When the flagman climbs down, you know you're in trouble.
