Some of the biggest sprint car names from across the Midwest gather at Park Jefferson International Speedway on Saturday, May 28, to compete for $3,000 as the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association stops.Park Jefferson is one of four stops over Memorial Day weekend for the series as it begins its 2022 season. They open in Grand Forks, N.D., Friday, May 27, and then take I-29 down to PJIS Saturday. The road takes a northwestern track for back-to-back nights at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., Sunday, and Monday, May 29 and 30.The JZ Diesel IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, J&J Fitting IMCA Stock Cars, and Q and Feather Again IMCA Hobby Stocks are also on the docket. Valuable season points are at stake in all four divisions, and the first prize pot in the modified division features $1,000.Gates and pits open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m., time trials starting at 7 p.m., and racing getting underway at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased through the Park Jefferson International Speedway website at parkjeff.com.
