I'd say you would be on the wrong side of the odds if you took the field vs a group of JD, Madden, and Overton.

Lots of quality cars going to be in the house. Im gonna take the field even though you likely listed 9 of the main event starters. Erb Jr., Pearson, Moran, Thornton, Satterlee, and some others with success at Eldora have had good starts to their year. It will be interesting to see what the track is like over the next few days.

Raced back to 10th on the goat ranch the night before at the show me too….Wouldn’t shock me a bit to see them get the big check.

Yes, but I'd take the field vs any one individual, be it JD or Big Stinky no matter what kind of streak they're on.

Just for curiosity sake, I wonder what Vegas type odds are on a bet like that? Also, I wonder what the Vegas type odds would be if you’d put your two of your three in a quinella box, or win place or show.

    Lurker,

For decent odds, we'd need one of those folks who keep track of all the stats to do an RPI type analysis like used to be done for college basketball. Then all drivers get a predictor score. That's how Vegas does all sports. I'd be interested in seeing the results as well. This isn't the Moran, Moyer, Bloomer days, but IMO, there are 3 clear cut favorites.

I find these results fascinating. Thanks again to all of you for casting votes and giving your comments. This board seems a lot different (better) lately. It's almost like a discussion. Go figure! Enjoy the race boys.

Absolutely!! The three favorites deserve to be and certainly are clear cut. I have two guys I am pulling for and not one of the favorites. LOL. But!!!, no denying beating all three is going to be tough

A line maker. I wish you could bet on DLM racing, I make some good money on NBA stuff, dirt racing would be cool.

Bloomquist was probably even money for the first dirt million. How'd that work Out?

I always enjoy seeing the normal guys that are constantly fast week after week win races but with the million I would love to see an upset from what I'll call one of the more average guys out there.

Fastest car was Moran's. He had fast cars back then, second to none.

My 2 dark horses…. 1. Ross Bailes and #2 is my man #11 AK racing Austin Kirkpatrick. I will go freaking nuts if Austin makes the main and wins this thing. Those are my long shots to win.
