Season points competition continues Saturday, June 11, at Park Jefferson International Speedway. While fans from near and far will be excited to see their favorites back on the track in all five divisions, some of the Midwest’s top late model drivers will be on hand for the first of three PJIS stops on the 21-event 2022 Tri-State Late Models calendar.One Park Jefferson regular will be easy to spot on the late models’ roster. Denison’s Shane DeMey, a tour rookie, is the JZ Diesel Modified point leader. He has taken his points compilation penchant to the Tri-State series with one top five marker and three top 10 finishes to be the rookie leader and stand second overall.The IMCA Sport Mods, J&J Fitting IMCA Stock Cars, Q and Feather Again IMCA Hobby Stocks and Fox Sports 620 IMCA Sport Compacts are also on the docket.Gates and pits open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased through the Park Jefferson International Speedway website at parkjeff.com. Fans can also find their favorite PJIS merchandise to be outfitted for race nights through the track website.
