Default Lucas 100 degrees at Cherokee

Temperatures expected to be around 100 ish on race night. How will this affect the show if at all? Car counts lower? Will they run later in night?

    100 degrees, and a 100% chance it’s a 1 lane rubber race

Just like Eldora. 😜 I have seen passing over the years. Mostly out of turn 2 down the backstretch.

Cherokee can’t keep a track from rubbering no matter the temperature. It will probably have standing water on it during hot laps and still rubber up before the feature

I applaud Cherokee for having only 3 support classes, a rarity around here. And all are V-8.

This is due to Lucas oil series. They keep it straight. No 7 division garbage when Lucas comes to town.

Flyboy: how can you comment on Eldora when you have never been there?
Cherokee is an absolute dump- that why it’s the place your mother warned you about!

A lot of dirt tracks are a dump but how good is the track itself?
