    Default Tyler Carpenter

Is he still driving a truck at Knoxville? Didn’t see him on entry list.

All the best of luck to him. I don't follow his racing endeavors all that much but I think it is great to see someone from DLM racing earn a seat for this event. I'd probably be happy for any DLM racer to get a deal like this. 17th in practice puts him into the top half of the trucks that are there so hopefully he and his team are able to make the best of it, stay out of trouble on the track and get a good finish. It will be tough. There are some well funded teams at the top of the heap and the differences between those heavy trucks and DLMs are worlds apart (by the looks of practice, about 6 seconds too).

I do actually own two pairs of Dudes as well.

30th overall in final practice, but 12th of 24 on the 10 lap average sheet.

It must been one of those there underfunded " Start and park " teams if that phenomenal young man didn't stay aboard of it ? ? ? Sort of like how Sammy Swindall ended up in " The Penality Box " Buick when he tried his hand in NASKY...

To a 6th place finish, nothing to be ashamed of.

Sounds as if it was a lot more respectable finish than that total embarrassment of a sad display when old Bloomer tried his hand at it... Or Tyler Carpenter tonight, but Carpenter didn't finish well because he broke and not because he sucked at it like the old hippy.
