Carnesville, GA – After eleven weeks of Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship events Brent Trimble of Morgantown, WV, leads the national point standings with 454 points. Trimble has been racing at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex on Friday nights and Elkins Raceway on Saturday nights scoring four wins, eleven top-10s, and ten top-5s. Trimble’s worst finish has been a DNF resulting in a tenth place finish this past Saturday, June 18, at Elkins Raceway the result of contact with a lapped car.

It is tight at the top as Trimble, Lukon, and Luke Hyre are in a tight battle for the $20,000 to win national championship.

Rounding out the top five in Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship points are Kyle Lukon (434 points), Luke Hyre (428 points), Lane Brook (291 points), and Dylan Lewis (266 points).
Sixth through tenth, respectfully, are Chandi Currance (217), Garret Paugh (158), Sparky Davidson (150), Michael Moreland (150), and Lucas McDonald (144).
