It's sad that Google is such an anti American corrupted company that goes much further than censoring your searhes and putting only left wing artibles and info the searhes that the people use. They are Marxist political activists and they target YOU in any aspect of what you do on the internet. Donations being stolen and redirected to whomever they see fit, is just another of their many crimes.

People should choose some other search engine and browser too, to try and get away from this control grab.

Of course Google is a private company, but it is way better than all of its analogues and similar online searching services. Besides, google customer service is one of the most adequate I ever dealt with, I wouldn't ever refuse from it in favor to Yahoo or Bing.
