It's the summer time. It can be 90 degrees. It's not up to the series to add a fuel stop to the race when guys start bringing cars that can't run 100 laps. It isn't up to the series to cut the race length when guys can't cool their cars. It is their job to enforce the rules so guys know what to bring to the race. The officials sit on their hands on that one though.

How am I wrong about opening a hole in the nose? If everyone has some hole, same place, level playing field. Would it have helped? We will never know. Don't see how it wouldn't have helped.

The other option was take gear out and shoot for top 5. Just ride & try to finish.

Telling everyone to put a hole in is more of the type of thing they been doing these days. These guys are not idiots. They know more air would help cool, but hurt performance. It's their choice on what they do and what they destroy.

Top-notch facility with stadium seating and despite what some said there was a nice size crowd in attendance. The track is big with a lot of seating, but it was probably 3/4 full by feature time.

According to my thermometer, it was 86 degrees at feature time, which is hot but not oppressive. It's the middle of the summer, what did they expect?

How many more blown motors this week? You now it will happen that some others hurt theirs and won't know until half-way thru next main event.

    Stupidity.
