FK Rod Ends Continues Track Naming Rights for 2023 Wild West Shootout
Mega Event Set for January 7, 8, 11, 13, 14 and 15 at Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (July 13, 2022) — Less than six months remain until the 2023 edition of the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts comes to life. When it does, the track naming rights for the event will once again be retained by industry leader FK Rod Ends.

The 17th annual Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will be held at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park on January 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, and 15, 2023.

FK Rod Ends began its relationship with the Wild West Shootout in 2017 by sponsoring the event’s pace truck before stepping up its involvement with the track naming rights in 2018 at Arizona Speedway. When the event relocated to Vado Speedway Park in 2022, FK Rod Ends accompanied the mega miniseries to the state-of-the-art New Mexico oval and now continues its sponsorship into 2023.

“I can’t say it enough – Maria [Melillo] and the team at FK Rod Ends have been an absolute rock for the Wild West Shootout. Their brand is one of the most well-known names in all of motorsports, and each year they go above and beyond to help our event thrive,” Wild West Shootout promoter, Chris Kearns said. “Having FK Rod Ends as an annual supporter of the Wild West Shootout not only allows us to now pay out over $320,000 in prize money every year, but it also adds another level of credibility to what we do.

“If you are one of the few racers, who don’t use FK Rod Ends products yet, I encourage you to please support them and let them know where you heard about them. They are a great example of a company, who reinvests back into the sport.”

Based in Southington, Conn., FK Rod Ends quietly came on the motorsport’s scene three decades ago. Since then, the part’s manufacturer has become prominent throughout all realms of the sport. The firm offers almost 10,000 combinations of rod ends and spherical bearings, which are crafted at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
