Memory Lane Classic Car Museum to Sponsor Fast Time; Dirt Draft Returns for ROY

(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) As the anticipation builds towards Friday’s Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals opener at Beckley Motor Speedway in Mount Hope, West Virginia, series officials are excited to announce that Memory Lane Classic Car Museum has stepped up to sponsor the Fast Time Award at each of the twelve tour contests in 2022. Memory Lane Classic Car Museum, which is located in Young Harris, Georgia, will shell out $150.00 in cash to the fastest overall qualifier each night in loving memory of Jerry Smith.

The museum opened on July 30, 2020 and is a great place to experience numerous historical eras filled with Classic Cars, Motorcycles, NASCAR, merchandise, and more. In addition, Dirt Draft is back on board with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series for the second straight year and will sponsor the Rookie of the Year Award. The highest finishing eligible rookie driver in the final series point standings will receive an extra $1,000 courtesy of Dirt Draft. The runner-up in the Rookie of the Year standings will also go home with an extra $500 thanks to our friends at MasterSbilt Race Cars in Crothersville, Indiana.
