    Default Lucas Optima Hard Charger

I guess I need someone to explain this award. Ricky Thornton won the hard charger award last night by finishing 4 spots better than where he started. In the rundown Rusty Griffaw started 25th and finished 17th. My math tells me that is 8 spots. Do you have to have the right decal on the car or what?

I think some monetary awards are only for series regulars. Look at the disparity in the payout when a series reg. finishes low compared to a local that grabs a top 10.

All series give out contingency rewards at their events. Been that way for as long as I can remember. I’m not positive about the Hard Charger, but it appears that’s included too.

The overwhelming majority of contingency awards depend on you having whatever decal on your car.

Usually you have to be a member of the series to get contingencies.

Yep, all you have to do is look at the payout. Local will finish 15th and get $1000, series reg will finish 20th and make 2-3 grand

It’s always been that way with Lucas and WOO for teams that follow the tour full time with perfect attendance. Travel money, show up money whatever you want to call it- it rewards drivers who commit to the tour full time.

Do you think this is wrong?

The hard charger award is open to any driver. Rusty Griffaw was 2 laps down at the finish that's why he didn't get the award last night

So you have to be on the lead lap? Thanks for the info. I don’t know why that caught my eye when I read the email this morning.
