    Default Stick Signals

As a fan I'd like to see crews not be allowed to give signals during green flag laps, allowed on cautions only as a compromise. But I'm wondering what you all think. I think that would make for better racing for the power drivers (Davenport, Overton, Sheppard, McCreadie, etc) to not have the help of their crew to tell them when the lines change mid-race while leading.

    Thoughts?

I agree I don't think it should be allowed even during cautions they did away with radios they need to do away with this

I agree that eliminating it would make for better racing. But I see it as something that would be very difficult to stop. Any team can send a person in a neon green or orange T-shirt into the stands then just play dumb when asked about it.

Our driver didn't even like using them. I wish they would ban them as well.

I think Marlar still races without one and does quite well.

I don't like them either but it is nearly impossible to totally police. However, it should be possible to police the ones that have clearly gotten out of hand in recent years. I've seen huge painted PVC pipes used along with taped pool sticks.
