It seems pretty obvious it’s Husets.

Yea I gotta agree with pennsboro on that one. That race at Huset's was a good one, bringing the SDN and a good purse will surely bring more than 18 cars next year.

To me it’s over. The name might go on, but Kosiskis won’t be involved and it won’t be at I-80. It’s dead to me. Husets will probably get the date, but you can’t run the passing point format on that track. The support won’t be there from a fan and car count perspective.

Quiring might have a lot of money, but he can keep it in the sprint car world.

I figured it was just a matter of time before HD popped a gasket. Rightfully so. My condolences.

There isn’t much out west of here. The dirt late model world stops at I-80. This is why the event struggled in recent years getting a really high car count. Yes, we are devastated, it essentially wipes Nebraska off the dirt late model world map. When big events came to the state, they came to I-80.

Not trying to blow a gasket or be a d!ck. It seems some don’t know what kind of impact this has on our state for racing as a whole. It’s a death blow.

It’s gonna come to Davenport, IA. We would get way more cars than either I-80 or Husets just cuz we’re 600 miles east. Fairgrounds are huge and could easily accommodate this event. Either way it will find a great home. I personally hope it’s Davenport because I can see the track lights from my apartment downtown. Home games are nice.

    I didn’t mean 600 miles, I meant to say 6 hours east.

Common sense puts it in Davenport. Awesome facility with a promoter that is tied to late model racing. Husets is push and flip country, with no room for camping. Farther for me to drive, but really believe it would be a better choice. But who really knows if these 2 tracks are even in the running for it?

The brutal heat at I 80 didn't help, but we were there for every event. I'm not a modified fan but those lare model USMTS were great. Jackson Mn./ Husets would be cool combo, Davenport Ia. be great too less travel for teams.

Junction couldn’t handle it. Too small. Also it’s too far west.

Davenport (the town), does not seem too friendly to events at the fairgrounds

Davenport would be a great choice. Excellent seating. Big fairgrounds. Great fan base. No brainer here.
