So you can get cauliflower ear from eating to many clams? I might have to get some of those wrestling ear protectors next time I go to the seafood buffet.

The thing that puts Bloomquist out to pasture has nothing to do with SLM dirt track racing. The culprit is a mystery man named Mr. Harley Davidson. He kicked Scott's butt like it has never been kicked!

Probably a good thing that he wasn't riding a high reving powerhouse of a Jap bike lest he might have been dead for sure ? ?

I have always driven a car to bike week. We leave the bikes at home. After Scott’s wreck I realized why.

Nope. Not true as Scott found out. It’s not me that I worry about. It’s the other driver/riders.

    Fun fact about Bob…

He didn’t want his kids to get into racing.

    Another fun McCreadie fact:

Back in 2008 and 2009, I did a work transfer to upstate New York. Not what the NYC people consider “upstate”, but the real upstate — the northeast corner of NY, Vermont and Canada. Plattsburgh is the big city in that area, because it’s not far from the famous Lake Placid, which has twice hosted the Winter Olympics.

Anyway, the relevant part … in a lot of the little stores and gas stations you frequently use in your area, you’ll have the magazines and candy bars as you check out. But in the upstate NY I saw a little paperback for sale … about the life of Barefoot Bob McCreadie.
