I like it. My one complaint about the previous format was how little racing there was on Saturday nights. Three b-mains, modified feature, and North/South feature, that was it. Fans need more bang for their buck and this is it. Good move by the Kings and Lucas.

You left out the non-qualifier, but I get you. This format is probably 3 more races. The change was most likely to placate the drivers, however.

I'm going to miss the passing point format. It seemed to work here and I-80 better than anywhere else. I like everything about the new format except, seeing qualifying on there.

Agree. Heats won't be nearly as entertaining. Drivers win.

Qualifying rewards the fast guys when the track is right. They get to start up front in there heats which in turn gets them a decent starting spot in the feature. I'm old school, pull a pill for your heat race and have your sh*t together and race in. It would change the landscape of who's who real fast.

Late models need to format how Woo sprint do. Race your way in Woo n lucas are getting old with who starts up front wins, all because you put together 1 or 2 laps in a completely different set up than your actually going to Race with.Be interesting if your maddens, davenport etc have to actually Race for a spit instead of it based off 1 lap. And the Woo draw what a joke, Race a f n dash for your spots it is called Racing isn't it.

It looks like the same format they run @ Eldora for the Dream and World.

I like the format for the PDC, both classes qualify, run 4 features on Friday and Saturday the run consi's and the A's with a non-qualifier race.

They can call them features at the PDC, but they’re heat races.

Never been to a 25 lap heat race. Never seen a heat race pay 3 g to win.
